ERASMUS+
PROJECT ID: 2017-1-EL01-KA204-036273
TIMELINE: 09/2017 – 08/2019

The INCREA project is dedicated to support migrants/refugees and social workers in their integration process in the European societies enhancing their language and entrepreneurial skills through the exploitation of ICT tools.

Exploiting their personal cultural background, the project will develop a complete package of learning material aiming to address the lack of adequate language and employment-related skills (including digital skills) and to promote language, entrepreneurial and Digital skills learning in order to foster the entrepreneurship spirit.

OBJECTIVES

The main objectives of the project are:
INCREA’s activities aim to address the two main challenges for migrants and refugees in Europe:

1: Lack of adequate language skills:
Socially, culturally and linguistically, migrant populations are infinitely different, both in terms of educational capital and in the presence of vulnerable groups. For this reason, it has been planned to create different courses depending on the levels of competence.

2: Lack of professional and occupational skills:
The proposed project combines  language learning with entrepreneurial learning (i.e. how to set up a business, learn about national regulation, have practical and transversal skills related to entrepreneurship) and  digital skills. In addition, the proposed project  will focus on the creative sector with the aim of helping migrants/refugees to use their cultural background to promote social inclusion and growth. Language learning will be more practical and anchored in real professional life.

RESULTS

The expected results of the project are:

Identification of skill gaps of target migrants related to: language and digital competences, entrepreneurial competences;

Developing specific curricula to support migrants’ language learning combining entrepreneurial and Digital skill learning applied in creative sector;

Developing and testing new ICT tool to transfer knowledge toward target migrant/refugees;

Developing of a From Migrant to Creative Entrepreneur Manual.
