Alongside its information, advisory and training activities, CBE-GEIE develops commissioned sector studies, comparative analyses and thematic insights on European issues of specific interest to its Members and clients.
This area of activity draws on CBE-GEIE’s ability to combine legal analysis, comparative law, European policy analysis and source verification, transforming information from different legal systems, administrative practices and technical documentation into clear and practically useful analytical tools.
This section presents selected examples of the work carried out. As these materials are produced on commission, the full documents remain reserved for the respective clients and are not available for consultation or download.

The analysis examined access to capital, governance, liability, oversight by professional bodies, multidisciplinarity and the protection of professional independence, providing a comparative overview of the main European models.

Study on AML/CFT compliance, fraud prevention and cybersecurity in Jamaica

A study of Jamaica’s regulatory, operational and institutional framework for anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, financial fraud prevention, cybersecurity, sanctions and financial compliance.
The analysis examined the AML/CFT framework, guidance issued by the competent authorities, enforcement trends, alignment with FATF and CFATF standards and prospective reforms relating to virtual assets, the “Twin Peaks” supervisory model, e-KYC and enhanced digital resilience.
