CBE is an Intermediary Organization for Belgium under the “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs” Programme.
It is a cross-border exchange Programme which gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in other Participating Countries.
The exchange of experience takes place during a stay with the experienced entrepreneur, which helps the new entrepreneur acquire the skills needed to run a small firm. The host benefits from fresh perspectives on his/her business and gets the opportunities to cooperate with foreign partners or learn about new markets.
Goals
The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme aims to foster entrepreneurial spirit, competitiveness, internationalization, start-up growth, and the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises through the transfer of knowledge between established entrepreneurs and new entrepreneurs. Young entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, or professionals interested in starting their own business (New Entrepreneur) can acquire the skills needed to manage a company through a stay abroad at an established host company (Host Entrepreneur) for a period of 1 to 6 months;
If you are a new entrepreneur, you will have the opportunity to gain on-the-job training at an SME located in another country participating in the programme. This experience will help you successfully start your business or strengthen the foundations of a recently established company. Moreover, you will be able to explore new markets, engage in international collaboration, and leverage potential opportunities for cooperation with foreign partners;
If you are an established entrepreneur, you can benefit from a motivated individual ready to contribute innovative ideas to your business. Your guest may possess skills or knowledge in an area you are less familiar with, possibly complementing your own expertise. Most experienced entrepreneurs who have participated in the programme have been so enthusiastic about the exchange that they chose to repeat the experience.
