Collaborative Momentum: FIRST Foundations’ Fundraiser and Storyteller Project Gathering in Nicosia

From the 17th to the 19th of October, the FIRST Foundations’ Fundraiser and Storyteller project partners gathered in Nicosia for an intensive Learning Teaching and Training Activity. The meeting brought together the project consortium: the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Sweden, Emphasys Centre, FOQUS – Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli, Wisamar Bildungsgesellschaft gGmbH, i-strategies innovation, DomSpain – Educational and Technological Services, and CBE.

This event served as a platform for these entities to showcase and exchange their produced modules, sharing insights, experiences, and recommendations. The collective response to this collaborative endeavour was overwhelmingly positive, underscoring the fruitful nature of this collective effort.

Beyond module presentations, the partners utilized this occasion to deliberate on the project’s current status and deliberate the forthcoming steps. This strategic discussion aimed at refining the project’s direction and solidifying plans for the future.

The meeting in Nicosia was not merely a convergence of minds but a pivotal moment in advancing the FIRST Foundations’ Fundraiser and Storyteller project towards its goals.

The role of Third Sector Companies and Foundations in the 21st century European economy

In the European context, foundations and third-sector entities are not just agents of change but crucial pillars supporting social progress.

In recent years, the role of foundations and third-sector companies across Europe has evolved significantly. These entities play a pivotal role in addressing societal challenges, supporting innovation, and fostering community development.

As they navigate an ever-changing landscape, the need to enhance fundraising skills and storytelling capabilities has become increasingly crucial.

Recognizing this imperative, the FIRST Foundations’ Fundraiser and Storyteller project emerged as a collaborative initiative aimed at empowering these organizations and bringing together unique perspectives and expertise in the realm of fundraising and storytelling, playing a pivotal role in equipping these entities with the tools necessary to navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.
