LTTA GREENSKILLS4DEAF

18 June 2026 | EU Projects

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the GreenSkills4Deaf Transnational Professional Training, which took place in Nicosia, Cyprus, from June 16th to 18th.
This intensive three-day program represented a significant milestone for the GreenSkills4Deaf project, which aimed to bridge the gap between the labour market and Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) students by fostering green entrepreneurial skills and digital innovation.

Key highlights of the training
Immersive technology: the consortium and participants tested cutting-edge VR simulations designed for the GreenSkills4DEAF game, gaining hands-on experience with these inclusive digital tools.
Comprehensive curriculum: we explored specialized modules covering green skills, entrepreneurial mindsets and environmental sustainability.
Practical innovation: attendees engaged with the ENTRE2-BE-GREEN mobile app and the project’s dedicated Learning Platform, where they completed assessments to receive micro-credentials.
Inclusive resources: the event featured the presentation of the Green Entrepreneurship Sign Language QR Code Glossary, a vital tool for making green concepts accessible.

CBE-GEIE’s contribution: during the second day of the training, CBE-GEIE led the session on Module 3 (Job-specific Skills), specifically focusing on Working in Green Jobs. Our contribution focused on providing VET educators with practical strategies to guide DHH students toward successful career paths within the green economy.

We would like to thank our host CitizensAct and our partners Społeczna Akademia Nauk, Associazione Ergon a favore dei sordi, DISE and PZG for their collaboration and dedication during this productive week.
