SYNOPSIS Kick-off Meeting

February the 6th CBE staff participated to the 1° project meeting of “SYNOPSIS: Storytelling and Fundraising for Cultural Heritage professionals” in Turin, hosted by Musei Reali Torino.

SYNOPSIS has two main objectives: it will identify which are the competences and characteristics of a new professional figure: Cultural Storyteller; and it will create a vocational training on storytelling and fundraising techniques for those managing cultural heritage sites. Indeed, Cultural heritage is an important resource for the European Union because it increases the economic growth, and employment, it supports the social inclusion and environmental sustainability.

During the first meeting CBE met the international partners involved in SYNOPSIS implementation, stressing the importance of the project objectives and the expected results we will create as partnership. The consortium includes CBE, Musei Reali di Torino (coordinator), Fondazione ente Ville Vesuviane di Ercolano e Sineglossa (Italy), EUROGEO (Belgium), EOLAS (Spain) and IDEC (Greece).
